“Sending my sincere gratitude for Andy and Meena’s amazing refinishing work of three incredibly special pieces of family furniture. My corner china cabinet was originally my aunt’s that she purchased in the late 1940s. After returning to Saskatchewan to marry in the mid 1950s she passed the cabinet to my mom, Genevieve. In the 1980s after replacing some of her dining room furniture my mom gifted the china cabinet to me. Andy’s incredible workmanship brought out the natural woodgrain and true character of the cabinet. It now stands in its glory in my dining room, and my heart smiles every time I see it. They also meticulously refinished to two hope chests. The first was my mom’s, which she purchased prior to my parent’s wedding in 1952. After my mom’s passing in 2009 my dad, Jim bestowed to me. The other was originally my great aunt Katrina’s and I suspect would have been made in the 1930s or 1940s. After her and my great uncle Art’s passing the hope chest was entrusted to me. All three heirlooms hold countless cherished family memories and Andy and Meena’s exceptional talent have given them new life for generations to come.”
